Whether you are a seasoned Saint who has been around the Word, Worship, and Church for many years, or you are somebody who is new to the faith, trying to find a church home, or you are just wondering what Biblical Christianity is all about, you are welcome to come visit us at any of our services.
- Who is Anchor Baptist Church? We are a church family, growing together in grace, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the teachings of the Word of God. We are a Gospel centered church, who desire to see the gospel of Jesus Christ go out into all the world. We love people, and want people to receive the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, to be baptized, and to be taught in the doctrine and teachings of Christ found in the Holy Bible.
- What type of church are you? We are a traditonal Independent Baptist Church, which means we sing as a congregation doctrinally rich songs and hymns of the faith, we hold fast to the King James Version of the Bible, and we believe the church is a local, visible, congregation of born again, baptized believers. Our church is a family integrated church, which means there are no age specific ministries, and all of the families of our church stay together for all of the services.
- Why should I go to Anchor? If you desire to grow in the Word of God, we pray you will find your new church home with Anchor Baptist Church. Our lives and church services revolve around the Holy Scriptures, and we believe in expository, biblical preaching that is faithful to the text, applicable for your life, and vital for your growth. We are also a soulwinning church, which means we intentionally go out into the community and present our neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the great commission has been entrusted to all born again believers, and we provide the necessary training, resources, and discipleship to get you to be a soulwinner in your life.
- What about my Children? Children are welcome in the church, and we are a family integrated church. We believe the children of the church should be together with the adults during the services of the church. The meeting hall is right next to some very nice parks as well, where the children can play before and after services, and parents can get to know each other more and grow in friendship together. Nursing mothers have a space where they can feed baby, and our clean restrooms also have changing tables.
- Parking? You can park in the parking lot of the community center, and there will be somebody to greet you. There will also be signs of the church that you will see, and these signs can help guide you in to the meeting hall.
- How do you dress? You will see some men in suits, and women in dresses. Others you will see in pants and a polo shirt. Others will be in jeans and a button up shirt. The Bible simply says that whatever we do, we should do to the glory of God.
